Dr. Nancy Tanchel and her team strive to be the finest – and the first – while using the best equipment in the world. The center is the first in the region to offer the new Z-LASIK with faster healing and visual recovery for All-Laser LASIK patients.  In 2003 Dr. Tanchel and her team were also the first in the area to utilize the Intralase Femtosecond laser. Dr. Tanchel has performed more than 15,000 LASIK, All-Laser LASIK and PRK procedures, more than any other woman in the country. She is a board certified surgeon, a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and she has degrees from Emory University and Johns Hopkins. Dr. Tanchel strongly believes in developing great relationships from the moment the initial and free consultation begins.
